What I do
Casper has been repairing and revising clarinets since 1982. By focusing on one instrument, Casper has become a real specialist. He knows the clarinet inside and out.
Casper learned the trade from famous clarinet makers such as Karl Hammerschmidt and the Leblanc company. He studied at the Amsterdam Conservatory where the clarinet was his first instrument. After the Conservatory, Casper also completed a goldsmith's study. His ear for music and his experience as a clarinet maker and goldsmith have made him the professional he is today.
Casper brings 35 years of experience to his work and supports both enthusiasts and professional musicians at the highest level.
Specialism.
What sets Casper apart is his specialization in revising Reform Bohm and Oehler clarinets, such as those of Herbert Wurlitzer, Uebel and Leitner. He goes to great lengths to ensure the quality of his repairs and overhauls, even to the point of manufacturing pads in his own workshop, paying careful attention to thickness, hardness and choice of materials for optimal performance.
Whether you are an enthusiast or a professional musician at the highest level, Casper is ready to advise, maintain and repair so that your clarinet is always in optimal condition.
Casper is the right place for maintenance and repairs to your clarinet.

Client testimonials
Thank you Casper for a magnificent looking and working Herbert Wurlitzer bass clarinet! I didn't know (anymore) that it was that good! I know that now, 23 years old, completely reborn he is in his Teflon skin! Thanks,
David Kweksilber
